Contemporary Perspectives in Family Research (CPFR), an annual series which focuses upon cutting-edge topics in family research around the globe, is seeking manuscript submissions for a special volume which will focus on the theme of: “Blood Ties and Politics: The Influence of Political Polarization upon Family Life.”

This volume of CPFR will be coedited by Louie Benedict R. Ignacio of the University of Santo Tomas (Manila), Veronica L. Gregorio of the National University of Singapore (Singapore), Clarence M. Batan of the University of Santo Tomas (Manila), and Sampson Lee Blair of the State University of New York (Buffalo).

Manuscripts should be:

  • in MS WORD format;
  • should not exceed approximately 40 double-spaced pages (not including tables, figures, and references);
  • adhere to the APA format;
  • represent previously unpublished work; and
  • have an abstract of 15-250 words included at the beginning of each manuscript.

All manuscripts will undergo peer review. There are no fees, and all authors will receive hard copies, and electronic access to the volume.
